Lancashire Adult Learning (LAL) are inviting you to brighten the start of your year by doing something brand new.
You might be looking to push forward in your career; maybe you want to change your profession and start doing something you’re more passionate about. You could be simply looking for a new to learn for your health and wellbeing.
Lancashire Adult Learning, powered by the East Lancashire Learning Group, have a huge range of courses designed to fit around your life, for all abilities starting this January.
You could even learn for free, with funding available on multiple courses and finance options too.
Sarah Haworth from Lancashire Adult Learning says it’s about making learning accessible for everyone,
“Our goals in life are always changing. Maybe life got in the way and you didn’t get the chance to get the qualifications you needed or you simply fell into doing something else.
“It could be the career you didn’t follow up on when you were younger because life got in the way.
“It could be something you always wanted to do, but just didn’t know how.
“It can be difficult to find out exactly what you need to do to move forward and achieve your goals.
“That’s why we have these evenings. It’s a casual drop-in where you can talk through those goals and discover what options are available and, importantly, about the support we can give you, both with your studies and financially.
“It could be the start of a whole new journey.”
There’s a wide range of opportunities to choose from starting as early as January – from personal learning, like creative wellbeing courses, digital courses and family learning, to professional courses, including recognised qualifications in sectors such as railway maintenance, business and accounting, plus courses in mental health, counselling, first aid and more.
